The Lo Shu is a traditional Chinese 3×3 magic square arranged as 4-9-2, 3-5-7, and 8-1-6; every row, column, and main diagonal totals 15. A familiar legend links the pattern to markings on a turtle from the Luo River during the era of Yu the Great, but that story is cultural tradition rather than verified history. This calculator places the nonzero digits of a birth date into those fixed cells, counts repetitions, identifies absences and complete lines, and groups the positions by element. The resulting numerology reading is symbolic, not a scientific personality assessment or a forecast of events.
