The Sexuality Line is a three-value symbolic line in the individual Destiny Matrix. Its active runtime sequence is the three-stage Sexuality line. It can support reflection on vitality, desire, embodied presence, intimacy, communication, and consent. It cannot define sexual identity, predict behavior, or diagnose health.

The active Sexuality contract: the three-stage Sexuality line
The line starts at the center value E, passes through U, and reaches V. U is derived from the four surrounding family points F, G, H, and I; V is derived from E and U. The formulas describe how the product calculates values, not a biological theory.
| Position | Formula or field | Educational role |
|---|---|---|
| Center anchor | E | The starting point of the line and a connection to the matrix center |
| Inner flow | U = reduce(F + G + H + I) | How the surrounding pattern is gathered and elaborated |
| Expression point | V = reduce(E + U) | How the line becomes an observable theme or choice |
Worked example: 18 April 1998
For 1998-04-18, the active calculation gives E = 8, F = 4, G = 13, H = 4, and I = 13. Therefore U = reduce(4 + 13 + 4 + 13) = 7 and V = reduce(8 + 7) = 15. The result is a symbolic prompt, never a diagnosis or a command.
Keep the three contracts separate
Love uses the three-stage Love flow and focuses on an individual relational flow. Heart’s Desire uses the inner and embodied fields and describes two heart-related fields in the result. Sexuality uses the three-stage Sexuality line. These themes may meet in lived experience, but the calculations and editorial questions remain distinct.
How to read the line with consent and care
- Start with the center: what is present in the body and emotional context right now?
- Observe the middle flow without forcing a label, performance, or explanation.
- Translate the final point into communication, a boundary, or a choice that respects everyone involved.

Inclusion, consent, and professional boundaries
The Arcana entries below use inclusive language and avoid assumptions about orientation, gender, libido, fertility, trauma, or relationship status. Consent, safety, and personal agency come before any symbolic interpretation. Seek qualified professional support for health or safety concerns.
Three values, three different questions
E, U and V are easier to use when each keeps its place. E is the center from which the line begins. U is the inner flow calculated from the four surrounding family points. V is the final expression formed from E and U. The sequence is a map of the project’s calculation, not a biological model. A reader can ask what is present, what moves internally and how communication or boundaries are expressed without turning any value into an identity label.
The formula can be checked line by line
In the worked example, E = 8, F = 4, G = 13, H = 4 and I = 13. The runtime first calculates U = reduce(4 + 13 + 4 + 13) = 7, then V = reduce(8 + 7) = 15. Keeping the intermediate points visible matters because a different matrix contract would produce a different line. The arithmetic tells us what the software did; it does not tell us what a body must want or how anyone must behave.
Center, inner flow and expression
A reflective reading can move from the center to the flow and then to expression. What is the person noticing in the present context? What feelings, needs or signals are moving before a decision? How could a boundary or conversation make the final point safer and clearer? This sequence is deliberately open. It allows desire, hesitation, privacy, disability, culture and changing relationships without demanding one “correct” performance.
Sexuality is not Love or Heart’s Desire
Love uses the three-stage Love flow, while Heart’s Desire uses the inner and embodied fields. Sexuality uses the three-stage Sexuality line. These subjects can touch one another in lived experience, but their inputs and questions remain separate. A Love value cannot be used to infer a sexual identity, and a Sexuality value cannot decide whether a relationship is compatible. Naming the sequence before interpreting it is a small safeguard against impressive-sounding but unsupported conclusions.
Consent belongs before interpretation
- Ask whether the person wants a symbolic conversation.
- Do not read another person’s body, orientation or desire without permission.
- Treat “no”, hesitation and privacy as complete answers.
- Use the card to support communication, never to pressure access.
The line cannot create consent. Consent is a present, voluntary and changeable agreement between people, not a property of an Arcana.
A practical conversation without labels
A reader might use the line to prepare a conversation about pace, affection, contraception, privacy, touch or rest. The card should lead to a question such as “What would help you feel respected here?” rather than “Your number means you need this.” If a conversation concerns health, pain, fertility, trauma or safety, qualified medical or psychological support is more appropriate than symbolic interpretation.
When a result feels uncomfortable
A reader may reject a word, a traditional association or the title of the line. That response is valid. Check the inputs and formula, then let the interpretation go if it creates shame or pressure. A calculation can be technically correct and still be unhelpful for a particular person. The ethical response is to preserve agency, not to argue the card into acceptance.
The line does not predict behavior
No value on E, U or V guarantees attraction, fidelity, libido, fertility, orientation, consent or relationship outcomes. People change, contexts change and private choices remain private. The strongest use of the line is modest: it gives a vocabulary for asking better questions about embodiment and communication while leaving decisions, boundaries and identities with the people who live them.
